Belgaum Institute of Medical Sciences (BIMS) is a government
medical college located in the city of Belgaum in Karnataka, India. The college
was established in 2005 and is affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of
Health Sciences (RGUHS).
BIMS offers undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MD/MS) courses in various specialties, including Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Pathology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, General Medicine, Pediatrics, Dermatology, Radiology, Anesthesiology, Obstetrics & Gynecology, and General Surgery. Admission Process:
BIMS accepts students for the
undergraduate MBBS course based on their scores in the National Eligibility cum
Entrance Test (NEET), which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
For postgraduate courses, candidates must have a valid score in the National
Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET-PG).
